Hootenanny for Heroes BBQ and Hog Roast in New Smyrna Beach, FL

Posted by Kathy Browning on

On Saturday, November 12, 2016. Hollowpoint Apparel hosted Hootenanny for Heroes at VFW Post #4250 in New Smyrna Beach. With the help of local restaurants, volunteers, and Frank the Farmer, we were able to treat local Veterans to a BBQ and whole hog roast.

Along with delicious food, guests were treated to a USO Show from Orbit Performing Arts Academy in Port Orange, followed by an array of patriotic songs and music.

We'd like to thank the entire staff at The Little V. Everyone worked hard to ensure guests were full and hydrated. We'd also like to thank the following for helping us put together a memorable and fun event:

Corkscrew Bar & Grille located at 235 Canal Street in NSB
Texas Roadhouse at 5549 S. Williamson Blvd in Port Orange
Mel's Diner located 4649 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange
Michele Boyer, Realtor for Magnolia Properties NSB
Cindy Lee Harper, Realtor for Realty Pros Port Orange
Billy Morton of Dirt Road Threads Apparel
and last, but certainly not least, Frank Costa of Vaca Gorda Farms for donating, preparing and cooking the hog!
